Product Groups allow products to be segmented. By default products can be grouped by Classification (Type of Product), Brand and Manufacturer. To add new Product Groups select the relevant menu option.
As you access one of the Product Group menu options, you will be presented with a grid of existing Groups:
To edit a group, simply click on the row. To create a new group click the new button to launch the group entry.
Product Groups are made up of a code (up to 30 alphanumeric uppercase characters, no spaces) and a description (up to 100 alphanumeric characters).
Once created, product groups become available within the Product Entry:
Product Groups can also be assigned to products via the Product Data Upload.
